A ten-day induction program for new students was inaugurated at the Homeopathy Medical College of Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth on Friday. The event was held in the college auditorium, where the Vice Chancellor, Prof. S.S. Sarangdevot, Principal Dr. Amia Goswami, Dean Prof. Gajendra Mathur, Dr. Babita Rashid, Dr. Lilly Jain, and Dr. Nivedita lit a lamp in front of the idol of Goddess Saraswati to mark the occasion.
In her opening address, Principal Dr. Amia Goswami welcomed the guests and showcased the development journey of homeopathy. Prof. S.S. Sarangdevot, presiding over the event, spoke about the rich legacy of Vidyapeeth Heritage Institute, which was founded by the visionary Pandit Janardan Rai Nagar in 1937, ten years before India's independence, with the goal of uplifting the underprivileged and integrating them into the mainstream of education.
Prof. Sarangdevot also emphasized that success in life requires not only physical and mental strength but also spiritual wisdom. He urged the aspiring doctors to prepare a roadmap for the next 25 years of their lives, focusing on their goals and aspirations. He highlighted that homeopathy is a unique field of medicine where treatment can be provided without any side effects. Additionally, he stressed the importance of human sensitivity in the profession, as patients often visit doctors in times of distress. Therefore, listening carefully to the patient is crucial before providing treatment.
The event was attended by various faculty members including Prof. I.J. Mathur, Dr. Naveen Vishnoi, Dr. Ajeeta Rani, Dr. Ejaz, Dr. Minakshi Srivastava, Dr. Santosh Lamba, Dr. Sumit Dhakad, and Dr. Dheerendra Singh, along with students and their parents.
