Jogi Talab Area to See Enhanced Natural Conservation Efforts

Udaipur. As part of the southern expansion plan by the Udaipur Development Authority (UDA), significant efforts will be made towards the natural conservation and enhancement of the Jogi Talab area. The initiative was discussed and directives were provided after a meeting between UDA officials and local representatives, led by Assam's Governor, Mr. Gulabchand Kataria.

During the session, Mr. Kataria directed the implementation of a tree-planting campaign around Jogi Talab, aiming to prevent pollution of the lake's waters with specific plant species conducive to clean water. He also instructed the planting of shade and fruit trees on the opposite side of the lake to benefit local bird populations.

Notable attendees included MLA Phool Singh Meena, former Authority Chairman Ravindra Shrimali, former Girwa-Pradhan Takhtsingh Shaktawat, Councillor Mrs. Rajkumari Ganna, Mrs. Santosh Menaria, and local Sarpanch Satyanarayan Gameti, among others. They kickstarted the tree planting campaign with various tall species like Semal, Gulmohar, Karanj, and Mulberry in the police station premises.

Governor Kataria also reviewed the ongoing road construction around Jogi Talab, addressing any obstacles faced in the project. Furthermore, landscaping and beautification directives were issued for the area surrounding the gazebos at Jogi Talab Pal, ensuring the site becomes even more appealing for visitors.

The event was also attended by UDA Commissioner Rahul Jain, Additional Chief Engineer Sanjeev Sharma, Land Acquisition Officer Bindubala Rajawat, Supervising Engineer Anit Mathur, Executive Engineer Vijay Patel, and the entire technical team from the authority, emphasizing a collaborative effort for the conservation project.
