Jaipur, Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani said that the Indian Constitution is the only strong constitution in the world through which the transfer of power takes place peacefully. This is the greatest feature of the Indian Constitution. He said that the country's Constitution is safe and there is no threat to it.

Speaker Devnani was addressing the Youth Dialogue Ceremony organized on Constitution Day in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly on Wednesday. Devnani inaugurated the ceremony by lighting a lamp. He said that the Constitution is India's soul, future, and present.

On this occasion, Mr. Devnani inaugurated the Vande Mataram Gallery, created under his initiative, in the digital museum of the Legislative Assembly. Mr. Devnani stated that Vande Mataram is not just a song; it is an effective symbol of devotion to the motherland, resistance against colonial oppression, and a collective consciousness of independence. Over time, this song has become an inspiration for India's freedom struggle in public gatherings and cultural events.

At the ceremony, Mr. Devnani stated that Constitution Day is a historic festival that elevates national consciousness. He stated that this day is not merely a memorial day but a day of vibrant resolve, pledge, and commitment. It is a day that strengthens the values ​​of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity. Mr. Devnani called upon the youth to imbibe the values ​​of the Constitution. Only by adopting these values ​​into their lifestyles can the young generation truly pay homage to the framers of the Constitution. Mr. Devnani emphasized that the nation is supreme. If the nation exists, we exist. We must have faith and devotion in the country. Live for the country. Demand your rights, but never shirk the responsibility of fulfilling your duties. Work for the national interest with all your might. India is a great power in the world. India is a world leader. All this is possible only because of the Indian Constitution.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Jogaram Patel said on this occasion that justice is at the core of the Constitution. Everyone should get justice. Believe in the justice system. Follow it yourself and then tell others. Leader of the Opposition Tikaram Julie, who was present at the ceremony, said that every citizen has the responsibility to strengthen the Constitution. Additional Advocate General G.S. Gill said that the Constitution is the spirit of the nation's people.

Vande Mataram Gallery

Speaker Mr. Devnani informed that the Vande Mataram Gallery, established in the Assembly, includes thirty-seven panels showcasing the history of India's national song, Vande Mataram, and important information related to it. He said that Vande Mataram was composed by Bankim Chandra Chatterjee in Lalgola, Murshidabad, West Bengal on the day of Akshaya Navami in 1875. Various information including the picture of the original song written in Sanskritized Bengali will prove to be very useful for the common people, youth, researchers and students.

Devnani said that the Vande Mataram Gallery in the Political Narrative Museum located in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly is an inspiring initiative to present the history of the Indian freedom movement and national consciousness from a new perspective. The gallery, centered on the spirit of "Vande Mataram" composed by Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay, vividly depicts the Swadeshi movement, mass movements, and the role of revolutionaries. The gallery features a well-organized display of the original lines of the song, a manuscript replica, and the political and cultural environment of the time. This will allow visitors to experience the emotions of the freedom struggle. The gallery also includes rare photographs, letters, speeches, and video material related to the movement and the soulful music of Vande Mataram.

Devnani stated that the Vande Mataram Gallery aims to convey to the new generation that love for the motherland, duty, and constitutional loyalty are the greatest strengths of Indian democracy. This gallery will further enhance the dignity of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly by becoming a unique confluence of history, culture, and parliamentary values.

Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani stated that the entrance to the State Legislative Assembly's Political Narrative Museum will be decorated with murals reflecting the art and culture of Rajasthan. The entrance has been renovated with murals depicting Rajasthan's great men, artifacts, folk art, folk dances, the national bird, the state animal, and the state's traditional elephant and horse, along with other elements of the state's art and culture.

It is noteworthy that the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly is perhaps the first state legislative assembly in the country to have a Vande Mataram Gallery. In keeping with the vision and vision of Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Speaker Shri Vasudev Devnani, to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Vande Mataram, the historical aspects of the national song Vande Mataram have been displayed through paintings. Last year, on Constitution Day, Speaker Shri Devnani initiated the inauguration of the Constitution Gallery in the Legislative Assembly's Political Narrative Museum. Shaurya Vatika has also been created within the Legislative Assembly premises.
