For the First Pravasi Rajasthani Sammelan — December 10, 2025
Where the Fragrance of Rajasthan Meets the Yearning of its Global Family
The historic First Pravasi Rajasthani Sammelan is being organized on December 10 at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Center (JECC), Sitapura, in the Pink City — Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. On behalf of the 80 million people of Rajasthan, India’s largest state by area and a land defined by unity in diversity, we extend a warm welcome to all Pravasi brothers, sisters, and young friends who have arrived from India and across the world.
They are welcomed on this sacred soil known for its patriotism, valor, resilient women, brave soldiers, and generous philanthropists. Jaipur, with its timeless charm, greets every guest with open arms and says:
“Welcome home… Rajasthan is yours, always.”
This land, celebrated globally for its history, culture, festivals, folk arts, cuisine, tourism, and hospitality, hosts this Sammelan with the primary purpose of bringing the Rajasthani diaspora onto a single platform. The aim is to foster social, cultural, emotional, developmental, and economic connections with their homeland and ensure their meaningful participation in the state’s progress.
The enormous enthusiasm can be seen from the overwhelming response — over 8,700 Pravasi Rajasthanis have registered to participate.
“Come, My Dear Migrants, Come…”
For centuries, Rajasthan has been synonymous with hospitality. Guests here are revered as divine. This Sammelan carries the emotional message:
“Come, dear migrants… Rajasthan is your home.”
This is not merely a slogan — it is the soul of Rajasthan. The event is not just an official gathering but a festival of emotional reunion.
Rajasthanis living abroad — in the USA, Australia, New Zealand, UAE, Singapore, the UK, Europe, Russia, Africa, and more — may live thousands of miles away, but their hearts beat with the melodies, colors, dialects, and traditions of Rajasthan.
This Sammelan rekindles the timeless bond between the diaspora and their homeland — a bond of soil, emotion, and identity. It celebrates the truth that Rajasthan never leaves its people, no matter where life takes them.
This gathering seeks to:
Strengthen cultural ties
Honor achievements of Rajasthanis worldwide
Present new opportunities for investment and development
Connect the younger generation with their cultural roots
Share India and Rajasthan’s transformational journey under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi
Pravasi Pavana — Pride and Brand Ambassadors of Rajasthan
The Rajasthan government’s decision to honor distinguished Rajasthanis abroad is historic and heartfelt.
Across continents, Rajasthanis have excelled in business, technology, medicine, arts, education, research, administration, public service, and social work. The government views them as the “Brand Ambassadors of Rajasthan.”
Rajasthani entrepreneurs, academics, scientists, artists, IAS/IPS officers, doctors, engineers, and social organizations reflect not just economic competence but also the cultural richness of the state. Their experience, skills, investment capacity, and global outlook can significantly enrich Rajasthan’s future path.
Thus, this Sammelan is not merely cultural — it is a comprehensive platform for development, collaboration, and participation.
