Jaipur: Sapta Shakti Command orchestrated a memorable penultimate day of the six-day ‘Know Your Army Mela’ in Jaipur, continuing an inspiring public outreach event that has resonated with patriotic fervour, curiosity and admiration for the nation’s armed forces, as it moves towards its grand culmination tomorrow. During the ongoing ‘Know Your Army Mela’, Shri Haribhau Kisanrao Bagde, Hon’ble Governor of Rajasthan, attended the scintillating event as the Chief Guest. His presence lent ceremonial dignity to the occasion and reaffirmed the enduring bond between the Army and the citizens. In addition, Lt Gen Manjinder Singh, Army Commander, Sapta Shakti Command along with numerous senior Army and Civilian Officers were present.
The Hon’ble Governor engaged warmly with Army personnel and visitors, lauding the Indian Army’s steadfast commitment to the defence of the Nation. He also expressed deep appreciation to the people of Jaipur for their enthusiastic, sustained and overwhelming support and participation, which transformed the event into a vibrant celebration of national pride and instilled a sense of responsibility and commitment.
‘Know Your Army Mela’ offered a vivid and comprehensive showcase of the Army’s operational strength and technological excellence. Visitors witnessed an impressive array of mechanised platforms, Infantry weapons, Artillery and Air Defence Systems, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and advanced communication equipment, complemented by dedicated soldier interaction zones and simulators. Together, these exhibits, provided citizens with a rare first-hand insight into the professionalism, preparedness and cutting-edge capabilities that define the modernised Indian Army.
As the curtain is about to draw tomorrow on this successful display, the Indian Army conveyed its heartfelt gratitude to the Hon’ble Governor of Rajasthan and the people of Jaipur for their wholehearted support, encouragement and participation.
