Udaipur: A special osteopathy medical camp jointly organized by PIMS Multispeciality City Hospital, Meera Nagar, and Sawarlal Osteopathy Centre, Jodhpur, received an encouraging response, with around 400 patients benefiting from treatment and specialist consultations.

Patients from distant areas also attended the camp seeking relief from long-standing pain and musculoskeletal problems. Medical evaluation and treatment were provided for conditions including back pain, neck pain, heel pain, elbow pain, chronic migraine and headaches, slipped discs and other musculoskeletal disorders. Several patients reported experiencing relief after treatment.

PIMS City Hospital Chairman Naman Agrawal said patients suffering from chronic pain were being guided about appropriate treatment options based on proper evaluation and specialist advice. He said that, depending on the patient's condition, non-surgical treatment options may be considered before surgery for several pain-related conditions.

During the camp, Dr. Nand Kishore Parashar and Dr. Giriraj Parashar created awareness about osteopathy and the importance of timely treatment. They advised people not to ignore persistent pain and to seek expert consultation at the right time, along with following appropriate treatment and exercise routines.

The specialists emphasized that every patient's condition is different and that, following proper evaluation and expert advice, non-surgical pain-management options may be suitable in many cases. They also highlighted the role of physiotherapy, appropriate exercises and necessary lifestyle modifications in rehabilitation, along with osteopathy.

Patients were provided guidance on pain management, osteopathy, physiotherapy and exercises suited to their individual conditions. The experts encouraged people to seek timely medical advice rather than ignoring persistent pain or continuing treatment without professional guidance.

The successful organization of the camp was supported by Pranav Khamesra, Dr. Kalpesh Purbia and the entire PIMS Hospital team. Organizers said the objective of the camp was to make specialist consultation accessible to patients in need and create greater awareness about non-surgical pain-management options and appropriate exercise.
