Udaipur: Udaipur-based interior architecture designer and heritage expert Gaurav Singhvi has been honoured with a certificate of appreciation for his contribution to the proposed Gumaniya Wala Nala Blue-Green Regeneration Project under the India-Denmark cooperation initiative.

The certificate was presented by Udaipur Municipal Corporation Commissioner Abhishek Khanna in the presence of Christina Mardi, a representative of Aarhus Municipality, Denmark.

Singhvi contributed his expertise in heritage conservation and architectural design to the project. His suggestions focused on integrating Udaipur’s traditional architecture and cultural heritage with nature-based solutions, blue-green infrastructure and sustainable urban development.

Singhvi has been working in the fields of interior architecture, heritage conservation, adaptive reuse and Vastu-based spatial design for the past 27 years.

Speaking on the occasion, Singhvi said that preserving heritage alone is not enough; it is equally important to connect it meaningfully with the needs of future cities.

His contribution highlights the importance of combining traditional heritage with modern, sustainable approaches to urban development.
