Sir Padampat Singhania University (SPSU) organized the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) Gunvatta Yatra on September 8, 2026, with the objective of creating greater awareness about quality, laboratory accreditation, and NABL standards among the university community.

The programme was graced by Dr. Sanjay Sinha, FRSA,  President, Prof. Prasun Chakrabarti, Pro President and Prof. Amit Kumar Goel, Dean, School of Engineering & Sciences (SES).

The expert sessions were delivered by Dr. Bhumi Rajyaguru, Joint Director, NABL–QCI, and Mr. Mrunal Kakkad, Analyst, NBQP–QCI, Ahmedabad Regional Centre. The sessions provided valuable insights into NABL accreditation, quality standards, NAAC and research, laboratory quality systems, and other national quality initiatives. The experts also highlighted the significance of maintaining robust quality practices and adhering to established accreditation standards.

The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from faculty members, laboratory representatives, Deans, Directors of Centres of Excellence, and Heads of Departments, reflecting the University’s commitment to fostering a strong culture of quality, excellence, and continuous improvement.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Avinash Ojha, who expressed gratitude to the dignitaries, expert speakers, university leadership, organizing team, including Prof. Naveen Kumar, Prof. Tulika Chakrabarti, and Dr. Emmanuel D. Sunkari, and the support staff for their valuable contribution towards the successful conduct of the programme.
