Udaipur: Aishwarya Sharma Chhajed has achieved a significant milestone in the field of biomedical research by successfully completing her PhD research focused on the design and development of gold nanomaterials for potential applications in cancer treatment.

Her research explored advanced nanomaterial-based therapeutic platforms designed to facilitate the combined use of chemotherapy and photothermal therapy (PTT). The study aimed to scientifically evaluate the potential of integrated and multifunctional therapeutic approaches for cancer treatment.

The research work involved the synthesis and characterisation of nanostructures, drug loading and delivery, photothermal evaluation, stability studies and biological assessments. These investigations were undertaken to assess the potential of gold nanomaterials as advanced therapeutic systems.

The research was completed under the guidance and supervision of Dr. Krishna Kumar, Associate Professor, Suresh Gyan Vihar University.
