Udaipur, A dignified Hindi Day  function  was organised on Monday at the College of Technology and Engineering (CTAE), Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology (MPUAT), Udaipur.

MPUAT Vice Chancellor and chief guest Dr. Pratap Singh Dhakad attended the programme. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Dhakad highlighted the importance of Hindi and said the language is deeply connected with India’s cultural roots. He emphasised the need to promote Hindi in areas including knowledge, technology and modern education, and encouraged students to take pride in their mother tongue and Indian languages.

The keynote speaker, Dr. Anupam, Associate Professor of Hindi at Meera Girls College, Udaipur, spoke about the significance of Hindi, its rich cultural heritage and its relevance in contemporary times.

Presenting the introductory remarks, CTAE Dean Dr. Vinod Yadav stressed the importance of encouraging the younger generation to respect and use Hindi.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Er. Vivek Meena, Assistant Dean Student Welfare (ADSW). The event was moderated by student Avni Suhalka.
