22nd Tenshinkan National Karate Championship Concludes

**Udaipur** - The 22nd Tenshinkan National Karate Championship, organized by the KDA Rajasthan Karate Association, concluded today at Chawat Sports Academy, located in New Navratan Complex. The closing ceremony's chief guest was the Minister of State for Cooperation and Civil Aviation, Gautam Dak. On this occasion, he presented awards to the winning players and referees.

In his address, Dak emphasized the importance of sports in strengthening the body and urged everyone to make sports a part of their lives. He mentioned that while opportunities for children in sports were limited in the past, today there are ample facilities, enabling Indian athletes to excel internationally in various sports.

Ravi Sharma from KDA and the National President of the National Karate Association, Sensei Hasrat Khan, mentioned that 377 players from 16 states participated enthusiastically in the two-day competition, showcasing their skills.

Dr. Vikram Sehgal from the District Karate Association reported that Minister Dak presented gold, silver, and bronze medals to the winners of the kata, kumite, and karate competitions. He also honored referees from various states with mementos. Some players gave impressive demonstrations of kata, kumite, and gymnastics, earning applause from the audience. The program was conducted by Gazala Khan.

This championship highlighted the importance of physical fitness and skill development through sports, providing a platform for athletes from across the country to compete and showcase their talent.
