Legal Awareness Drives Held in Schools

Pratapgarh: Under the directives of the Rajasthan State Legal Services Authority, Jaipur, awareness camps were organized in schools as part of a special campaign aimed at strengthening legal awareness among students. On April 9, 2026, the initiative was led by Asha Kumari (District & Sessions Judge and Chairperson, District Legal Services Authority) along with Kedar Nath (Additional District & Sessions Judge and Secretary, DLSA), and other judicial officers across Pratapgarh district.

During the campaign, judicial officers visited various schools and emphasized that education should not be limited to textbooks but must also include awareness of laws and rights. Students were informed about cyber safety, including protection against cyberbullying, digital arrest scams, online fraud, and safe use of social media, along with provisions of the POCSO Act.

Additionally, a complaint box named “Court Wali Didi” was installed in each school, allowing students to submit complaints confidentially. The District Legal Services Authority will take necessary action on these complaints. The initiative aims to directly connect students’ concerns with the justice system while fostering legal awareness and a sense of responsibility among them.
