Udaipur:Strengthening its presence in southern Rajasthan and reaffirming its commitment to customer-centric mobility, Mewar Honda was formally inaugurated on Friday at the Madri Industrial Area. The new Honda car showroom was opened by Kunal Bahl, Vice President – Sales & Marketing, Honda Cars India, along with Nikhil Shukla, National Sales Head, and dealer Rajendra Meena, who jointly unveiled the facility by cutting the ceremonial ribbon.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by senior company officials including Anurag Singh, Zonal Marketing Head, Sunil Bhardwaj, Head – Dealer Development, Lokesh Gupta, North Zone Sales, and Vikas Meena, among others.
Addressing the gathering, Kunal Bahl said that the launch of Mewar Honda would significantly benefit not only Udaipur but the entire Mewar region by offering enhanced sales and service facilities to customers. He announced that Honda plans to introduce 10 new models by 2030, further strengthening its product portfolio in India.
Sharing market insights, Bahl noted that Honda currently holds a 10.6 percent market share in the petrol segment. “Udaipur has always been a strong market for Honda, and Rajasthan as a whole plays a vital role in our growth story,” he said. Honda operates through more than 300 dealerships across India, including 12 dealerships in Rajasthan. Emphasizing the importance of partnerships, he added, “The success of any brand depends on strong business partners, and in Udaipur, we have found a committed and capable partner in Mewar Honda. We are confident that our footprint in this region will grow even stronger in the coming years.”
Bahl also highlighted Honda’s foray into electric mobility, stating that the company has introduced its first electric car, fully manufactured in India, reflecting Honda’s strong alignment with the Make in India initiative. He pointed out that after the introduction of GST 2.0 by the Government of India, the automobile market witnessed a notable upswing.
“India is Honda’s third-largest market globally after the US and Japan, and customer expectations here are diverse,” he said. “Our primary focus remains on safety, quality, and value for money. Honda emphasizes both active and passive safety features, ensuring that customers receive the best possible value for every rupee they invest.”
Dealer Rajendra Kumar Meena expressed confidence that Mewar Honda would set new benchmarks in customer satisfaction through superior service standards and a seamless buying experience.
Several dignitaries and members of the Mewar Honda team, including Nikhil Shukla, Nikita Meena, Vikas Meena, and Ramniwas Meena, were present at the event, marking the beginning of a new chapter for Honda customers in the region.
