Udaipur | Republic Day Celebration@Maharana Mewar Public School

The 77th Republic Day of India was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Maharana Mewar Public School, Udaipur.

The programme commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag by the Honorary Director, Mr. Satish Kumar Sharma. On this occasion, cadets from all four NCC units of the school, along with Scouts and Guides, stood in disciplined formations and saluted the Tricolour.

A series of cultural performances added dignity to the celebration, including speeches, group songs, poetry recitation, and a band performance. During the poetry recitation, student Hunar Bhatia movingly portrayed the restraint, pain, and pride of a martyr’s mother, presenting a vivid and emotional picture that deeply touched the audience.

Addressing the gathering, Honorary Director Mr. Satish Kumar Sharma urged students to imbibe the values of the Constitution, discipline, honesty, and a sense of duty in their lives. He emphasized that the true purpose of education is not merely the acquisition of knowledge, but the development of character and a spirit of service towards the nation.

The programme concluded on a solemn note with the National Anthem. The Republic Day celebration further strengthened the feelings of patriotism and respect for the Constitution among the students.
