St. Anthony’s Celebrates Republic Day

A grand programme was organised at the local St. Anthony’s Senior Secondary School on January 26 to mark Republic Day. According to Media In-charge Vikas Sahu, the National Flag was hoisted by the school Principal William D’Souza.

On this occasion, students presented various patriotic dances, poems, and cultural performances. Principal William D’Souza addressed the students and shared important information about the significance of Republic Day.

St. Anthony’s Senior Annual Sports Day Concludes Successfully
Mental development along with physical growth is essential

The Senior Annual Sports Day of St. Anthony’s Senior Secondary School was held with great enthusiasm. Media In-charge Vikas Sahu informed that students from Classes 6 to 12 actively participated in the event with high spirits.

Students securing first, second, and third positions were awarded gold, silver, and bronze medals by the dignitaries. The chief guests of the programme were Pushpa Meghwal, Dr. Rekha Harshvardhan, Rajnish Sharma, Kamal Dangi, and Yojana Dangi. The programme was presided over by Principal William D’Souza.

Various athletic events, including 100-metre race, 110-metre hurdles, and several other races were conducted. Addressing the gathering, the guests emphasized that such events are essential for the physical development of children along with mental growth. While felicitating the students with medals, the guests expressed great joy and interacted warmly with the participants.

The programme began with the hoisting of the sports flag by the guests, followed by the formal declaration of the Sports Day. The vote of thanks was proposed by Principal William D’Souza, who expressed gratitude to all teachers and parents for their constant support in making the grand Sports Day a success.
