Udaipur. On the occasion of National Dentist Day (December 24), Geetanjali Dental and Research Institute, Udaipur, launched a series of public-oriented awareness and service activities from December 22, 2025. The initiative aims to promote oral health awareness among the general public, students, and patients, and will continue until December 31, 2025.
As part of the programme, dental health awareness sessions were organised in various schools, where children were educated about proper dental care, oral hygiene, and the importance of regular dental check-ups. In addition, a special dental camp was set up at the Geetanjali Dental and Research Institute campus, offering free dental consultations and special discounts on various dental treatments. Residents of Udaipur can avail themselves of these benefits until December 31.
Celebrating Dentist Day in a creative manner, an attractive rangoli was displayed in the hospital’s reception area, which was widely appreciated by patients and students alike. Every patient visiting the hospital also received personalised oral health education and counselling.
To further extend the message of oral health awareness to the wider public, awareness programmes were broadcast through various FM radio channels in Udaipur, helping reach a large audience across the city.
All these activities were organised under the guidance of the institute’s Principal, Dr. Balaji Manohar, with active participation from all faculty members.
