Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar Conferred with “Upbhokta Rashtriya Gaurav Samman–2025”

Udaipur: The Consumer Protection Organization, New Delhi, has honoured Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, the 77th Custodian of the Royal Family of Mewar and Chairman of HRH Group of Hotels, with the prestigious “Upbhokta Rashtriya Gaurav Samman–2025.”

Dr. Mewar was conferred with this honour in recognition of his visionary contributions to education, environmental conservation, the tourism industry, and the promotion of sports in the Mewar region. The award also acknowledges his historic achievements in global cooperation, inspirational leadership style, and dedicated commitment to the vision of a strong and self-reliant India.

On the occasion of National Consumer Day 2025, members of the organization paid a courtesy visit to Dr. Mewar and felicitated him with a traditional uparna and a citation.

The ceremony was attended by Dr. Rajshri Gandhi, National President of the Consumer Protection Organization; National Coordinator Shirish Nath Mathur; State Vice President Paras Khurdia; District President Praveen Nahar; Women’s Wing President Dr. Alpana Bohra; Youth President Parth Verma; and Puneet Mathur from Gurugram (Haryana).

During the programme, Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar and Dr. Rajshri Gandhi engaged in a meaningful discussion on consumer rights and jointly reaffirmed their commitment to continuously work towards safeguarding consumer interests.

On this occasion, Dr. Gandhi also apprised Dr. Mewar of the various consumer awareness and outreach programmes conducted by the organization so far. She emphasized that today’s youth constitute the largest consumer segment and therefore must be well informed about their rights and responsibilities, enabling them to become aware, empowered, and responsible consumers as well as citizens.
