Army to Hold Second Rajasthan Recruitment Rally in Jodhpur From Sept. 1

Jaipur, The Indian Army's second recruitment rally for Rajasthan will begin on September 1, 2026, at the Government Physical Education College in Jodhpur, offering eligible youth from nine districts an opportunity to join the Armed Forces under the Agniveer scheme.

The rally, organised by the Army Recruiting Office (ARO), Jodhpur, will cover candidates from Barmer, Balotra, Didwana Kuchaman, Jalore, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Nagaur, Phalodi and Sirohi districts.

Around 9,500 candidates, shortlisted on merit after appearing in the Common Entrance Examination (CEE) 2026, have been issued call-up letters for recruitment in the categories of Agniveer (General Duty), Agniveer (Technical), and Agniveer Tradesmen (8th Pass and 10th Pass).

The recruitment rally for Agniveer General Duty (Women Military Police) for candidates from all districts of Rajasthan is scheduled for September 18 and 19, 2026. The rally for Agniveer Clerk/Store Keeper Technical will be conducted centrally for all districts of the state in October 2026.

The recruitment drive is being organised jointly by Headquarters Recruiting Zone, Jaipur, Headquarters Southern Command, and the Jodhpur civil administration.

Army authorities said the recruitment process is fair, transparent and fully automated, ensuring selection strictly on merit. Candidates have been advised not to fall prey to touts or fraudulent agents and to avoid using unfair means during the selection process.

Officials also cautioned aspirants against handing over their original educational or qualification documents to private coaching institutes or middlemen. Documents should be submitted only to authorised Army recruiting staff whenever required under the official notification.
