###Special CSR Drive Promotes Cleanliness and Environmental Conservation at Ghata Wali Mataji Temple

Udaipur: A special awareness and cleanliness campaign was organized at the Ghata Wali Mataji Temple premises under a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative aimed at promoting environmental conservation and public cleanliness. The campaign was jointly conducted by the Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board, Udaipur, Pacific Dental College & Hospital, Debari, and National Chemical Factory, Udaipur.

The primary objective of the initiative was to make the temple premises and surrounding areas free from plastic waste while ensuring a clean and environmentally safe atmosphere. As part of the campaign, biodegradable bags were distributed among devotees and local residents, awareness banners highlighting environmental protection were installed, and dustbins were placed across the premises. A large-scale cleanliness drive was also undertaken, encouraging visitors and community members to maintain hygiene and protect the environment.

One of the unique highlights of the event was an eco-friendly havan conducted using Go-Kasth—environment-friendly logs made from cow dung. The initiative conveyed a strong message about the harmonious blend of traditional Indian culture and environmental sustainability while encouraging public participation in creating a cleaner and healthier environment.

Sharad Saxena, Regional Officer of the Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board, Udaipur, emphasized the importance of community participation in environmental conservation. He stated that such initiatives not only enhance public awareness but also contribute significantly toward achieving sustainable development goals.

Dr. A. B. Rai, Principal of Pacific Dental College & Hospital, said that the institution has always remained committed to its social and environmental responsibilities and will continue organizing such public welfare initiatives in the future. Dr. Mohit Pal Singh, Hospital Superintendent, highlighted that cleanliness and a healthy environment form the foundation of public health and urged citizens to actively support environmental protection efforts.

The programme witnessed the participation of Laxmikant Vaishnav (National Chemical & Minerals), Rajendra (President, Laghu Udyog Bharti), Archana Singh (Rahda Foundation), Kamal Singh (Former Sarpanch, Bichhri Panchayat), B. S. Shukla (General Manager, Blue Phosphate), Siddharth (Sadhna Phosphate), Abhishek Thakur (Resustainability), Girish (Udaipur Chamber of Commerce, Kaladwas), Kishore Singh and Ratan Singh (Shri Ghata Wali Mata (Chamunda Mata) Vikas Samiti, Debari), Umesh Paliwal, along with several distinguished citizens, industry representatives and local residents.

The participants appreciated the collaborative effort and stressed the need for regularly conducting such initiatives to build a clean, green and pollution-free society.
