Udaipur — A bold vision is taking shape for the City of Lakes. BCI Utsav has proposed the creation of “Udaipur Mandapam,” a world-class convention and exhibition centre, inspired by Bharat Mandapam, through a formal appeal to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Rajasthan Chief Minister.
Founder and Chairman Mukesh Madhavani highlighted that while Udaipur has emerged as a premier destination for international tourism, destination weddings, and corporate events, it still lacks a unified, large-scale convention facility capable of hosting global summits and exhibitions under one roof.

President Sanjeev Patwa shared that the proposed Udaipur Mandapam is envisioned as a state-of-the-art infrastructure hub, featuring a grand convention hall with a capacity of 5,000–10,000, a multi-level exhibition arena, and advanced auditoriums and conference spaces tailored for international events.
General Secretary Alok Gupta emphasized the inclusion of cutting-edge amenities such as AI-driven systems, high-speed connectivity, seamless digital access, and live-streaming capabilities, ensuring a truly global experience for organizers and participants alike.
Secretary Heena Pathik noted that the project also aims to empower local industries by creating a dedicated exhibition space for Rajasthan’s handicrafts, handloom, and MSME products—strengthening the “Local to Global” vision.
Calling it a potential game-changer, Sanjeev Patwa stated that the project could significantly boost investments, generate employment, and elevate Udaipur’s stature as India’s destination wedding capital. With strong support from both central and state governments, Udaipur Mandapam could soon transform the city into a global conclave powerhouse.
