Lions Club Neelanjana promotes values through school outreach

UDAIPUR,  Lions Club Neelanjana, Udaipur, organized two value-based programs at local schools to promote Indian culture, moral values and respect for parents and teachers among students.

At Jawahar Jain School, the club conducted a "Matru-Pitru Charan Vandan" program, where students paid respect to their parents by seeking their blessings. The initiative emphasized the importance of honoring, serving and expressing gratitude to parents while reinforcing traditional Indian family values.

On the occasion of Guru Purnima, a separate program was organized at Red Fox School in Keshav Nagar. Students felicitated their teachers by offering traditional aparna cloths and flowers as a mark of respect. They were also educated about the significance of the guru, the guru-disciple tradition and the vital role teachers play in shaping character and guiding students throughout life.

Both programs conveyed the values of gratitude, respect and cultural heritage, leaving a lasting impression on the participating students.

The events were attended by Lions Club Neelanjana President Lion Neha Nahata, Secretary Lion Heena Talesara, Treasurer Lion Hemlata Sahu, and other club members.
