Rajasthan Hoteliers Club Plans Major Push for Destination Weddings and Tourism

 

Udaipur. A significant meeting of the Rajasthan Hoteliers Club was held at Hotel Arishta in Rampura with the objective of giving new direction to the hospitality and tourism sector in the tourism city of Udaipur. Various issues related to hotels, travel and tourism industries were discussed in detail, while future strategies and development plans were also prepared during the meeting.

It was decided that a special Tourism and Hospitality Event would be organized by the Rajasthan Hoteliers Club during July–August 2026, in which travel agents, hotel industry professionals and stakeholders associated with the tourism sector would actively participate. The event is being considered an important initiative to strengthen and promote Rajasthan’s tourism industry, particularly Udaipur’s growing hospitality sector.

During the discussion, special focus was given to the rapidly increasing trend of destination weddings and multi-day events in Udaipur. Speakers stated that Udaipur is emerging as one of the most preferred destinations for tourists and luxury weddings from across India and abroad. Keeping in view the growing trend of lavish weddings lasting two to three days, emphasis was laid on better planning, world-class hospitality services and strengthening the hotel industry infrastructure.

Several important suggestions and proposals were also presented regarding the upcoming hotel season in Udaipur beginning from July 2026. The club welcomed new members during the meeting and resolved to work collectively for the growth and development of the tourism and hospitality sector.

Those present at the meeting included founder Rajnikant Sharma, Narendra Mehta, Surendra Singh Rathore, President Karan Singh Champawat, Vice President Lal Singh Jhala, Treasurer Narpat Singh, Secretary Rehan Ali, along with members Rohit Jain, Nisha Rathore, Karan Singh Sisodia, Gaurav Sharma, Gajendra Singh, Praveen Singh and Saket Sharma.
