###Debate Competition Marks World Health Day

Udaipur. On the occasion of World Health Day, a debate competition was organized at Pacific Institute of Medical Sciences, Sai Tirupati University, Udaipur, on the topic “Is digitalization in the healthcare sector increasing gender inequalities?” The program was jointly conducted by the Gender Champion Committee and the National Service Scheme (NSS) Cell, based on this year’s theme, “Together for Health, Stand with Science.”

Students participated enthusiastically, presenting their views both in favor of and against the motion. Key aspects such as accessibility of digital health services, equality, and gender disparities were discussed in detail. The competition featured two teams, each comprising five participants.

The judging panel included Dr. Dileep Kumar L., Dr. L. N. Meena, Dr. Ashwini Khairkar, and Dr. Neelima Goyal, who carried out a fair evaluation of the participants.

On this occasion, students also actively participated in a national-level quiz competition organized by the Indian Association of Preventive and Social Medicine, coordinated by Dr. Rajyalakshmi from the Department of Community Medicine.

The Gender Champion Committee was guided by its nodal officers, Dr. Shrinidhi, Dr. B. J. Pradeep Kumar, Dr. Pooja Singh, and Dr. Avantika Gupta. The program concluded with a prize distribution ceremony conducted by Principal Dr. Suresh Chandra Goyal and Medical Superintendent Dr. Sarita Kant, where participants were appreciated for their efforts.
