Udaipur : The 77th Republic Day was celebrated with great pride and enthusiasm at the campus of Pacific Medical University (PMU), Bhilon Ka Bedla. On this national occasion, a unique blend of patriotism was witnessed across the university, where future doctors and healthcare professionals expressed their dedication to the nation through cultural performances.
The Chief Guest of the ceremony and Chairman of the University, Rahul Agrawal, unfurled the national flag and formally inaugurated the program with the singing of the National Anthem. Addressing the gathering, Agrawal said that the strength of the Republic rests on the sense of duty upheld by institutions. He emphasized that the medical profession is a noble calling that offers a direct opportunity to serve society and protect humanity along with professional responsibilities. He urged students to play the role of vigilant contributors in nation-building.
During the program, students from Medical, Dental, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, and Paramedical streams presented impressive cultural performances. Patriotic songs, dances, and theatrical presentations captivated the audience and conveyed messages of national unity, integrity, and “unity in diversity.”
On this occasion, Dr. M. M. Mangal of Pacific Medical University, Dr. U. S. Parihar, Principal of PMCH, CEO Sharad Kothari, along with Deans and Directors of all colleges, Heads of Departments, and the entire staff were present.
