####New State-of-the-Art HDU Facility Inaugurated at PMCH

Udaipur,Reinforcing its commitment to providing accessible and advanced healthcare services, a newly constructed High Dependency Unit (HDU) was inaugurated today at Pacific Medical College and Hospital.

The new facility was formally inaugurated by Chairman Rahul Agrawal, Preeti Agrawal, Executive Director Aman Agrawal, CEO Sharad Kothari, Head of Medicine Dr. Girish Verma, and HDU In-charge Dr. Saba.

On the occasion, Chairman Rahul Agrawal expressed his satisfaction and stated that continuous improvement in the quality of healthcare services remains their primary goal. He added that the introduction of this HDU facility has significantly strengthened the hospital’s capability to manage complex medical cases and provide enhanced patient care.

Executive Director Aman Agrawal highlighted that the expansion of the General Medicine Department represents an excellent blend of advanced medical technology and modern infrastructure. He noted that the HDU is particularly beneficial for patients who require more intensive monitoring than a general ward but do not need full ventilator support like in an ICU. This unit is expected to improve recovery rates while also reducing the burden on intensive care units.

HDU In-charge Dr. Saba emphasized that the unit has been designed keeping patient comfort and safety in mind. It is equipped with advanced cardiac monitors, a centralized oxygen supply system, isolation wards, and a centralized nursing station, enabling continuous and close monitoring of every patient.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by heads of various departments, specialist doctors, resident doctors, nursing staff, and administrative personnel.
