###Paras Health Udaipur strengthens integrated oncology care with multidisciplinary cancer department

Udaipur, Paras Health Udaipur on Monday highlighted the capabilities of its comprehensive multidisciplinary oncology department, reaffirming its commitment to making advanced cancer care more accessible to patients across Rajasthan and neighbouring regions.

Addressing a press conference, hospital officials said the department integrates medical oncology, surgical oncology and radiation oncology under one roof, enabling coordinated, patient-centric treatment tailored to the type, stage and complexity of each cancer case.

The oncology team comprises Dr Manoj U Mahajan, Director, Medical Oncology; Dr Renu Mishra, Principal Consultant, Medical Oncology; Dr Sachin Jain, Senior Consultant, Medical Oncology; Dr Ronak Jain, Consultant, Surgical Oncology; Dr Saurabh Sharma, Senior Consultant, Surgical Oncology; and Dr Kirti Shivhare Sharma, Consultant, Radiation Oncology. The team jointly evaluates each case and prepares personalised, evidence-based treatment plans.

Facility Director Anubhav Sukhwani said cancer treatment requires not only clinical expertise but also coordinated care and continuous support for patients and their families.

"At Paras Health Udaipur, we are committed to making advanced cancer treatment accessible, comprehensive and patient-centric. Through our multidisciplinary oncology department, we strive to offer advanced treatment options along with compassionate care, ensuring that patients receive timely and holistic treatment close to their communities," he said.

The hospital said the department offers a full spectrum of oncology services, including cancer screening, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, advanced cancer surgeries, precision radiation therapy, supportive care and follow-up services.

Doctors also stressed the importance of early detection and timely intervention, noting that advances in cancer diagnosis and treatment have significantly improved survival rates and quality of life. They urged people to undergo regular health check-ups and seek specialist consultation at the earliest if symptoms appear.

Paras Health Udaipur said its integrated approach aims to improve treatment outcomes while reducing the need for patients from southern Rajasthan and adjoining areas to travel outside the region for specialised cancer care.
