####Sangam University Launches Delhi-NCR Alumni Chapter, Strengthens Industry-Academia Connect

Bhilwara: Sangam University marked a significant milestone in its alumni engagement initiatives with the grand launch of its Delhi-NCR Alumni Chapter during an Alumni Meet organized by the University's Training & Placement Cell at the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi.


The event brought together distinguished alumni, academicians, industry leaders, and university officials on a common platform to strengthen professional networking, foster collaboration, and reinforce the University's commitment to lifelong engagement with its graduates.

Addressing the gathering, Vice Chancellor Prof. Karunesh Saxena described the launch of the Delhi-NCR Alumni Chapter as a landmark initiative in Sangam University's journey toward building a vibrant and globally connected alumni community. He emphasized that alumni are the University's strongest ambassadors, whose achievements reflect the institution's academic excellence and values.

Prof. Saxena highlighted that the University is committed to creating meaningful opportunities for alumni to contribute to academic development through mentorship, industry collaboration, internships, innovation, and career guidance. He noted that a strong alumni network not only benefits graduates but also plays a vital role in shaping the future of current students by bridging the gap between academia and industry.

Dr. Anurag Sharma, Deputy Director – Training & Placement and Alumni Relations, stated that the event was designed to reconnect alumni with their alma mater while creating a collaborative platform for knowledge sharing, professional networking, and institutional development.

The gathering featured insightful addresses by eminent academicians and industry experts, including Prof. Pamela Singla (University of Delhi), Prof. G. S. Toteja (Former ICMR Scientist and Director, Intensive Healthcare), Dr. Avinash Chaudhary (National ISC), and Dr. Ajay Singhal (Senior Vice President, GR Infraprojects Limited). The speakers shared valuable perspectives on career advancement, emerging industry expectations, skill development, and the practical application of academic learning.

The event was also attended by Prof. Lokesh Tripathi and Atul Parashar from Sangam University. Registrar Dr. Alok Kumar congratulated the Alumni Association and expressed confidence that the strengthened alumni network would continue to contribute significantly to the University's academic growth and student development.

An interactive session enabled alumni to share their professional experiences and recommend ways to further align academic curricula and training with evolving industry requirements. The discussion also explored opportunities for greater alumni involvement in mentoring, guest lectures, internships, research collaborations, and placement initiatives.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from Sangam University alumni currently serving in leading organizations such as News18, Deloitte, PwC, Genpact, Capgemini, Nagarro, Ciena Communications, Reliance General Insurance, Adobe Systems, and RMSI, showcasing the University's growing national and global footprint.

The Alumni Meet concluded with several key outcomes, including strengthening alumni engagement, establishing structured mentorship programs, enhancing industry-academia collaboration, and developing regional alumni clusters. Alumni also expressed their willingness to actively support the University's future initiatives through guest lectures, internships, placement drives, and career mentoring.

The successful launch of the Delhi-NCR Alumni Chapter reflects Sangam University's vision of nurturing enduring relationships with its alumni while creating a collaborative ecosystem that empowers students, strengthens industry partnerships, and advances academic excellence.
