Christmas Celebrated with Joy and Enthusiasm at St. Mary’s

Udaipur. Christmas was celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm at St. Mary’s Convent Senior Secondary School, New Fatehpura. The campus was filled with festive cheer as students presented a variety of colourful and meaningful performances.

The programme featured attractive presentations by students, including Christmas tree decorations, dance dramas, and cultural performances. Students of Class VII presented a touching skit based on the themes of love and harmony, which left a deep impression on the audience.

The surprise arrival of Santa Claus and the distribution of gifts brought smiles and laughter to the children’s faces. Melodious carol singing further enlivened the festive atmosphere and added to the spirit of celebration.

Addressing the gathering, Principal Sister Kiran Jojo extended warm Christmas greetings to students, teachers, and parents. She emphasized the true meaning of Christmas, stating that the festival is not limited to celebrations, decorations, or gifts, but is about uniting hearts, supporting the broken, and promoting peace and brotherhood in society. She encouraged students to spread love, practice mutual respect, and share happiness with others. She added that Christmas inspires us to give up ego, hatred, and negativity, and to walk on the path of humanity. True Christmas, she said, is celebrated when we share love, understand others’ pain, and make society better through our actions.

On behalf of the school management, heartfelt Christmas greetings were extended to the citizens of the city, with wishes that the blessings of Lord Jesus Christ bring peace, love, and happiness into everyone’s lives.
