Road Safety Awareness Program Concluded at CTAE College under the 37th Road Safety Month

Udaipur. Under the 37th Road Safety Month, an impactful road safety awareness program was organized at CTAE College, Udaipur. The objective of the program was to develop a sense of responsibility among youth toward traffic rules and to help reduce road accidents.

RTO Inspector Mr. Ghanshyam Meena from the Transport Department, Udaipur, attended the program as the Chief Guest. Addressing the students, he stated, “Even a small lapse on the road can cause lifelong suffering. Therefore, following traffic rules is not only a legal obligation but also a social responsibility.”

The Special Guest and keynote speaker, Mr. Mahesh Chaudhary from the IDTR – Ashok Leyland Driver Training Institute, Railmagra, provided detailed information on modern road safety measures, safe driving techniques, the importance of helmets and seat belts, and the dangers of overspeeding and misuse of mobile phones while driving. He urged the youth to adopt the principle of “Safety first, speed later.”

The guests were welcomed by CTAE College ADSW Mr. Vikramaditya Dave. Presiding over the program, College Dean Mr. Sunil Joshi stated that the role of educational institutions is not limited to imparting education, but also to nurturing safe and responsible citizens for society.

Approximately 130 students of the college participated enthusiastically in the program. All students were administered an oath to follow traffic rules, ensure their own safety, and spread awareness among others.

In addition to this program, the death anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, was observed at CTAE College on January 30 with reverence and respect. A two-minute silence was observed to pay tribute to him. After the silence, Dean Dr. Sunil Joshi highlighted Mahatma Gandhi’s contribution to the freedom struggle, while ADSW Dr. Vikramaditya Dave called upon students to adopt Gandhiji’s teachings in their lives. Students took a pledge to follow Gandhiji’s principles for nation-building.
