Professor Mishra Retires from Rajasthan Ayurved University

Udaipur: Prof. Pramod Kumar Mishra, Head of the Department of Kayachikitsa (Internal Medicine) at the Post Graduate Institute of Ayurveda, Jodhpur, under Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Rajasthan Ayurved University, retired after rendering 30 years of distinguished government service. On this occasion, the university accorded him a warm and heartfelt farewell.

During his tenure, Prof. Mishra served in various key positions and contributed significantly to public welfare and the advancement of Ayurvedic education. He headed several postgraduate departments, including Kayachikitsa, Kaumarbhritya (Pediatrics), and Swasthavritta (Preventive and Social Medicine).

Prof. Mishra also served as the Superintendent of Sanjeevani Ayurvedic Hospital and played an important role in academic administration as Chairman of the Board of Studies and a member of the Academic Council of the university.

The farewell ceremony was attended by Prof. Chandan Singh, Principal of PGIA; Prof. Mahendra Sharma, Dean of Ayurveda; Prof. Govind Gupta, Chairman of the Student Welfare Board; Prof. Devendra Chahar, Dean of Research; former Rasashala In-charge Dr. Vijaypal Tyagi; Dr. Rajeev Soni; along with faculty members and postgraduate scholars of the institute.

The university fraternity appreciated Prof. Mishra’s dedicated service, academic leadership, and valuable contributions to Ayurvedic education and healthcare over the past three decades.
