Udaipur: Sai Tirupati University successfully organized the World Environment Day Fortnight 2026 from May 15 to June 5, 2026, with active participation from all constituent colleges of the university and its National Service Scheme (NSS) Cell. The campaign was conducted in collaboration with the Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board, Udaipur, and featured a series of awareness programs focused on environmental conservation and sustainability.
During the fortnight, a variety of activities were organized, including a poster-making competition, blood donation camp, tree plantation drive, water conservation awareness programs, and a public awareness campaign on the theme “Reduce Plastic and Waste.” These initiatives were aimed at promoting environmental responsibility and increasing awareness among students and the wider community about the importance of protecting natural resources.
The campaign witnessed enthusiastic participation from university representatives, including Dr. Dileep Kumar, Devarshi Mehta, Yunus Khan, Avanti ka Gupta, along with faculty members, staff, and volunteers. Their collective efforts and commitment played a significant role in making the campaign highly successful and impactful.
At the conclusion of the program, the university administration expressed gratitude to all participants and collaborators for their valuable contributions. The institution also reaffirmed its commitment to continuing such public welfare and environmental conservation initiatives in the future.
