Maharana Mewar Public School Celebrates 52nd Foundation Day and Investiture Ceremony

Udaipur: Maharana Mewar Public School, The City Palace, Udaipur, celebrated its 52nd Foundation Day and Investiture Ceremony on Sunday in the historic Manak Chowk with great enthusiasm and dignity. Vir Chakra awardee Colonel Manoj Deshpande graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

The programme commenced with Colonel Manoj Deshpande, Honorary Director Satish Kumar Sharma, and CEO Dr. Mayank Gupta paying floral tributes to the portrait of the school's founder, Maharana Bhagwat Singh Mewar. This was followed by the oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected Student Council. Honorary Director Satish Kumar Sharma administered the oath of office to 41 members of the Student Council and representatives, urging them to discharge their responsibilities with integrity, discipline, and commitment.

The ceremony featured a series of vibrant cultural performances by students, including Krishna Raas, the group song "Veer Shiromani Desh," and an impressive Pipe and Brass Band display, which captivated the audience. Student Amodini Sen highlighted the school's remarkable 52-year journey, its major achievements, and its vision for the future.

In his inspiring address, Colonel Deshpande said that leadership is not merely about holding a position but about guiding society through discipline, responsibility, honesty, and selfless service. He encouraged the newly elected Student Council members to perform their duties with fairness, dedication, and a spirit of service.

Honorary Director Satish Kumar Sharma felicitated the Chief Guest with a memento and emphasized that the school is committed not only to academic excellence but also to nurturing values, leadership qualities, and holistic personality development among students.

Principal Mrs. Rakhi Trivedi expressed gratitude to the teachers, students, and staff members for their continued dedication and contribution to the institution's success.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Senior Head Girl Dhara Jain, followed by the National Anthem.
