Jaipur. On the auspicious occasion of the 77th Republic Day, Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani announced that the Amrit Kaal of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly will be celebrated in the year 2026, and several programs will be organized during this period.

Devnani made this announcement in his address after hoisting the flag at the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly on the occasion of the 77th Republic Day on Monday. He said that the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly has a glorious history, and today the state assembly is one of the best legislative assemblies in the country. He informed that among the many innovations made in the Assembly, the Constitution and Vande Mataram Galleries are particularly noteworthy.  Since these galleries have been opened for public viewing, forty-two thousand people have visited them so far.

On Monday morning, Assembly Speaker Devnani paid tribute to the brave martyrs by laying a wreath at the Amar Jawan Jyoti located at Janpath in Jaipur. Devnani also hoisted the flag at the Rajasthan Constitutional Club and his official residence on Republic Day.  MLAs, former MLAs, and officers and employees of the Assembly were present on the occasion.

Extending his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the people of the state on the 77th Republic Day, Assembly Speaker Devnani said that Republic Day is a symbol of our unwavering commitment to our Constitution, democratic values, and the unity, integrity, and sovereignty of the nation. This day provides us with an opportunity to express our gratitude to the freedom fighters, the framers of the Constitution, and the great men who contributed to nation-building.
