Udaipur — Marking the occasion of World Sparrow Day, the Animal Protection Society, Udaipur organized a meaningful awareness campaign aimed at protecting the rapidly declining sparrow population.
As part of the initiative, members of the organization prepared and distributed nest boxes to encourage safe habitats for sparrows. The campaign focused on educating the public about simple yet impactful steps—such as placing water bowls, offering grains, and installing nest boxes—that can significantly contribute to sparrow conservation.
Speaking at the event, Kiran Bhavsar and Dr. Mala Mattha urged citizens to actively participate in the movement and help create a bird-friendly environment in their surroundings. Their message emphasized that collective small efforts can lead to big environmental change.
The program concluded with a pledge, where participants committed themselves to protecting sparrows and preserving biodiversity, reinforcing a shared responsibility toward nature.
