SAPTA SHAKTI COMMAND INVESTITURE CEREMONY TO BE HELD AT SAPTA SHAKTI AUDITORIUM

Jaipur: Sapta Shakti Command Investiture Ceremony will be held at the Sapta Shakti Auditorium, Jaipur Military Station on 09 January 2026 to acknowledge the gallant and distinguished acts of Officers, Junior Commissioned Officers and soldiers in the service of the Nation.  The ceremony will be presided by Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, Army Commander, Sapta Shakti Command.

            The Investiture Ceremony is conducted once in a year.  The event witnesses the presentation of Gallantry and Distinguished Service Awards to individual awardees, along with the award of General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, South Western Command Unit Citations to selected units for their outstanding performance and professional excellence.  Veteran Achievers and Civilian Administration Officials will also be honoured for their distinguished contribution.

            On 09 January 2026, Sena Medals (Gallantry), Sena Medal (Distinguished), Yudh Seva Medal and Vishisht Seva Medals are being awarded.  In addition, many units will be awarded the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, South Western Command Unit Citation. Veteran Achievers and Civilian Achievers are also being felicitated for their exemplary contributions in various fields, especially fostering Military-civil fusion.

            The Investiture Ceremony reflects the enduring commitment of the Indian Army towards recognising valour, professionalism and selfless service. It also serves as an inspiration for all ranks to emulate the highest traditions of the Indian Army in the service of the Nation.
