Shekhawati Foundation Celebrates Second Foundation Day in Presence of Assembly Speaker Devnani

Jaipur.The second Foundation Day of the Shekhawati Foundation was celebrated in a grand and dignified manner under the chief guestship of Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani. Addressing the gathering, Mr. Devnani described the event as a source of inspiration that strongly carries forward Shekhawati’s rich cultural heritage, social values, and commitment to nation-building.

He said that Shekhawati is not only known for its trade legacy and historic havelis but is also a living tradition of sacrifice, hard work, strong values, and contribution to national development. The people of the Shekhawati region, he noted, have made remarkable contributions in the fields of business, industry, education, and social service, bringing pride to Rajasthan and the nation. The Shekhawati Foundation, he added, is doing commendable work in preserving and advancing this legacy.

Mr. Devnani emphasized that social organizations succeed only when they work with a spirit of service, transparency, and dedication while understanding the real needs of society. He highlighted the Foundation’s important role in areas such as education, employment, skill development, women empowerment, and youth guidance, stating that when young people are given the right direction and opportunities, they can strengthen the future of society and the nation.

Seema Mishra Conferred with “Shekhawati Alankaran”

On the occasion, renowned folk singer Seema Mishra was honoured with the prestigious “Shekhawati Alankaran,” along with a cash award of ₹51,000. The honour is presented for exemplary contributions toward keeping Shekhawati’s folk culture and traditions alive.

Congratulating Seema Mishra, the Assembly Speaker said that such artists are the cultural soul of society, carrying traditions, values, and identity to future generations through their art. Her recognition, he said, is a matter of pride for the entire Shekhawati region.

The event was also attended by Minister for Autonomous Governance and Urban Development Jhabar Singh Kharra, along with industrialists, traders, social workers, litterateurs, and media representatives, who appreciated the initiatives of the Shekhawati Foundation and described it as a strong platform for social unity and development.
