Jaipur. Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Speaker Mr. Vasudev Devnani once again demonstrated his deep sensitivity towards the officers and employees of the Assembly by personally attending the retirement ceremony of three Assembly staff members on Wednesday. For over two years now, Speaker Mr. Devnani has consistently attended almost every retirement ceremony held for the Assembly's officers and staff. On Wednesday, he personally attended the retirement ceremony of three Assembly employees: Section Officer Mr. Satyanarayan Saini, Senior Clerk Mr. Tarachand Batad, and Class IV employee Mrs. Sagar Devi. The State Minister for Local Self-Government and Urban Development, Mr. Jhabar Singh Kharra, was also specially present at this ceremony.
Mr. Devnani and Mr. Kharra felicitated the three retiring employees by adorning them with traditional turbans (*safas*) and shawls, and by presenting them with mementos; they accorded the retirees a heartfelt farewell. The Assembly staff expressed their deepest gratitude to Speaker Mr. Devnani for his consistent presence at all such retirement ceremonies.
Speaking on the occasion, Speaker Mr. Devnani remarked that securing an appointment and rendering service within the Legislative Assembly is a matter of great pride. He urged the Assembly staff to conduct themselves in a manner that upholds the dignity of the Assembly and to refrain from any actions that might tarnish the prestige and public trust reposed in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly. He emphasized that the significant contribution of every single Assembly employee is essential to making the Assembly truly exemplary. Mr. Devnani further stated that while every Assembly employee has a rightful claim to promotion, they must first prove their capability for the respective position; furthermore, in the current era dominated by computers and Artificial Intelligence (AI), they should cultivate a continuous learning mindset and enhance their professional competence through ongoing training. Speaking on this occasion, the State Minister for Local Self-Government and Urban Development, Mr. Jhabar Singh Kharra, lauded the services rendered by the retired employees who had served for over three decades. He expressed confidence that their future lives would be secure and that they would continue to contribute to the development of their families, society, the state, and the nation. Present at the event were officials and staff members of the Legislative Assembly, including the Principal Secretary of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly, Mr. Bharat Bhushan Sharma; Special Assistant, Mr. K.K. Sharma; Senior Deputy Secretary, Mr. Sanjeev Sharma; and the President of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Employees' Cooperative Credit Society, Mr. Ravi Jain.
