OVER 1,000 PARTICIPANTS JOIN SAPTA SHAKTI COMMAND'S GRAND INTERNATIONAL DAY OF YOGA 2026 CELEBRATION

Jaipur:  Sapta Shakti Command commemorated the International Day of Yoga (IDY) 2026 with great enthusiasm and fervour at Jaipur Military Station on 21 June 2026. More than 1,000 participants, including soldiers, ladies, children, and NCC cadets, took part in the mass yoga session, reflecting a shared commitment towards health, wellness, and holistic well being

 

          The event was organised in consonance with the International Day of Yoga 2026 theme, "Yoga for Healthy Ageing", underscoring the significance of yoga in promoting physical vitality, mental fortitude, emotional balance, and overall well-being across all age groups.

 

          Participants performed the Common Yoga Protocol under expert guidance, demonstrating the enduring relevance of yoga in enhancing fitness, resilience, concentration, and inner harmony. The collective practice highlighted yoga's role as a powerful tool for fostering a healthy lifestyle and strengthening both individual and community well-being.

 

          Under the leadership of Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, Army Commander, South Western Command, a week-long series of yoga-related initiatives were organised across all stations of the Sapta Shakti Command. These events highlighted that yoga is not merely physical discipline but it’s a way of life which embodies strength, grace and determination. The session at Jaipur Military Station was led by Lieutenant General P S Shekhawat, Chief of Staff, Sapta Shakti Command.

 

          The enthusiastic participation of serving personnel, families, children, and NCC cadets exemplified the spirit of unity, inclusivity, and community engagement. The event also celebrated India's timeless wisdom and rich cultural heritage, reinforcing yoga's global message of harmony between mind, body, and spirit.

 

          The event emphasized the importance of integrating yoga into daily life to build resilience, promote preventive healthcare, and nurture physical and mental wellness. The observance reaffirmed Sapta Shakti Command's steadfast commitment to fostering a culture of fitness, discipline, and well-being in line with the national vision of a healthier and stronger India.

 

          "Strength in Body, Clarity in Mind, Unity in Spirit" resonated throughout the event as participants came together to celebrate the transformative power of yoga and its enduring relevance in contemporary life.
