Rajasthan Speaker Vasudev Devnani Delivers Message of Nation-Building at ABVP's 'Aarohan' Event

Jaipur. Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani stated that India's youth power is our greatest national asset. Empowered, cultured, and dutiful students form the foundation of the nation's bright future.

Addressing the "Aarohan" program organized by the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), Jaipur City unit, at S.S. Jain Subodh Arts and Commerce College, Jaipur, on Thursday to mark 'National Student Day,' Devnani called upon the youth to propel the country forward, provide a new direction, and play an active role in strengthening the nation. He urged the youth to remain sensitive towards the poor and stay connected to their roots.

*Use AI in Alignment with Culture*

Speaker Devnani remarked that students are the agents of social change. He encouraged the youth to understand India and its rich tradition of knowledge. He advised them to utilize Artificial Intelligence in a manner consistent with Indian culture. He urged the youth to evaluate their actions and shape their future based on that assessment. He noted that this day also commemorates the immortal message of Swami Vivekananda, which instilled self-confidence, inner strength, and national pride in the youth of India. He emphasized that Swami Vivekananda's vision—that youth of strong character and devotion to the nation can transform India—remains equally relevant today and serves as a timeless principle for nation-building.

*Must Remain Connected to Indian Values*

Reflecting on his student days, Devnani mentioned that his public life began with inspiration from the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS); while actively working with the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), he imbibed the values of service to the nation, discipline, organizational spirit, and dedication to society. He stated that working for student welfare, academic excellence, cultural pride, and national unity—while serving as the state president of the Parishad in Rajasthan—was a significant part of his public service journey. He emphasized that being a student is not a matter of age, but rather a lifelong zeal for learning. While today's students are connected to modern technology and global knowledge, they must remain equally rooted in their culture, language, traditions, and Indian values. It is this balance that gives India a distinct identity on the global stage.

*Demonstrating Discipline to the Youth*

Speaker Devnani set an example of discipline for the youth. He arrived at the venue exactly on schedule and delivered his address within the allotted 21 minutes. Devnani noted that while he often holds MLAs accountable regarding time limits in the House, he is equally punctual himself. He remarked that he had successfully concluded his speech within the stipulated time.
