Kothari Recalls Meeting with Late Asha Bhosle

Udaipur, Dinesh Kothari, former Chief Executive Officer, recalled his meeting with legendary singer Late Asha Bhosle during a visit to Mumbai in 2017.

Kothari had traveled to Mumbai in connection with a meeting of the Shrinathji Temple Board. During his visit, he went to meet an acquaintance at the All India Radio center, where a broadcast of Asha Bhosle’s interview was underway. Through a mutual contact, Ashok Tiwari’s elder brother, Kothari was introduced to the iconic singer.

During the interaction, Asha Bhosle shared that she had visited Nathdwara a few years earlier but was unable to have darshan as the temple doors had already closed upon her arrival. She expressed a strong desire to visit again and seek blessings of Shrinathji in the near future.

She also took Kothari’s visiting card and showed keen interest in learning about the temple, its traditions, and its religious significance. However, due to her busy schedule, the visit could not materialize.

Remembering the meeting, Kothari paid heartfelt tribute to Late Asha Bhosle, honoring her legacy and expressing deep respect.
