Udaipur: To promote coordination between education and industry, an industrial visit was organized at the initiative of Suresh Agarwal, President of the Federation of Rajasthan Trade and Industry (FORTI). The organization believes that for the overall development of the state, it is essential to provide students with direct exposure to industrial units so they can develop practical skills alongside theoretical knowledge.
Under the leadership of FORTI Branches Chairman Praveen Suthar, BBA students from Birla Institute of Technology, Jaipur, were taken on an industrial visit to Lotus High Tech Industries, a leading pre-engineered building manufacturing company based in Udaipur.
During the visit, the company’s General Manager Bhanupriya Jain, Plant Head Viplav Pogra, and their team provided detailed insights into the production process, the functioning of modern machinery, quality control systems, and overall management practices. The students toured various departments of the industry and gained valuable hands-on experience.
On this occasion, young entrepreneur Praveen Suthar emphasized that close coordination between education and industry is crucial in today’s time. He stated that such factory visits offer students real industrial exposure, helping them build confidence, management skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset. He further mentioned that FORTI will continue organizing similar programs for youth in the future.
Faculty Head Purvi Mathur, along with students and other members, appreciated the initiative and described it as highly beneficial for their professional growth and career development.
