Udaipur: As part of a nationwide series of grand Hindu conferences, a “Virat Hindu Sammelan” will be organized on Sunday, February 15, at Field Club in the Panchwati area of Udaipur on the sacred occasion of Mahashivratri.
The event will be held under the spiritual guidance of Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Rajguru Swami Vishokanand Bharti Maharaj. The program will commence at 9:30 a.m. with *Parthiv Shivling Pujan* (ritual worship of earthen Shivlings), followed by a large religious assembly. The keynote speaker at the gathering will be Nimbaraam, Regional Pracharak (Rajasthan Region) of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.
During the Parthiv Shivling worship, devotees will prepare Shivlings from clay and perform rituals according to traditional customs. It is believed that performing this worship with family brings prosperity, good health, happiness, and peace. The organizing committee has appealed to all community members to participate in this sacred ceremony with their families.
To ensure the success of the event, a strong organizing committee has been formed in Panchwati. Rajesh Khamesra has been unanimously appointed as President of the Virat Hindu Sammelan Organizing Committee, while Dilip Singh Rathore has been named Program Coordinator. A Patron Board has also been constituted for guidance, comprising Dr. Bhagwati Prasad Sharma, Govind Agarwal, Dr. Kailash Sodani, Lt. Gen. N.K. Singh, Akhilesh Joshi, Bhupendra Shrimali, Anurag Saxena, Anil Godha, and others.
The responsibilities of Vice Presidents have been assigned to Prashant Madhup, Bhupendra Singh Babel, Laxmikant Vaishnav, Chandrasingh Kothari, Mukesh Modi, Ashok Doshi, Anant Ganesh Trivedi, Sushma Kumawat, Omprakash Agarwal, and Mandhata Singh Ranawat. Dr. Rahul Jain has been appointed Treasurer, while Chetan Prakash Shakdwipiya will oversee publicity and communications.
The Panchwati area includes Chetak Circle, Madhuban, Moti Magri Scheme, Daitya Magri, Panchwati, Trench Colony, Gumaniya Wala, Sardarpura, New Fatehpura, Techno Society, Dangiyon Ki Bari, Saheli Nagar, Polo Ground, Bathera Colony, and the area of RNT Medical College. Coordinators for these sub-areas have also been appointed to ensure effective outreach and organization.
A poster release ceremony for the event was held on Saturday, drawing enthusiastic participation from local residents. Program Coordinator Dilip Singh Rathore stated that coordinators have been appointed across sub-localities to ensure the event is conducted in a grand and disciplined manner. Committee President Rajesh Khamesra has made a heartfelt appeal to all residents of Panchwati who have faith in Sanatan Dharma to participate with their families in the Shivling worship and religious assembly.
Arrangements for *Mahaprasad* (community meal) will be made for devotees after the religious gathering. On the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri, this grand Hindu conference is expected to become a historic confluence of religious devotion, social unity, and cultural consciousness.
