Udaipur: Rotary Club Udaipur Vasudha has set up a library in the departure area of Maharana Pratap Airport under the leadership of Club President Rtn. Rajni Sharma and Patron Rtn. Madhu Sareen.
According to President Rajni Sharma, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed for the establishment of the library with Airport Director Sanwarmal Singaria. The agreement was signed by Rajni Sharma, Madhu Sareen, Shakuntala Porwal, and Sangeeta Tated.
On this occasion, a total of 126 books were donated, including motivational literature, story collections, and books related to art, management, and science. Additionally, items for children such as coloring books, magic slates, and crayons were also provided.
Charter President Shakuntala Porwal stated that this initiative was successfully implemented with the support of airport management, particularly Tushar Nimawat. The objective of the library is to ensure productive use of time for passengers waiting in the departure area. Travelers can read books during their waiting time, while children can engage with entertainment materials, coloring items, magic slates, and toys that support their intellectual development.
