Udaipur | The Women Patanjali Yoga Committee, Rajasthan organized a two-day state-level workshop in Jaipur on May 16 and 17, 2026. The program was conducted under the guidance of State In-charge Mrs. Sarita Gurjar.
From Udaipur, the team participated enthusiastically under the leadership of Mrs. Tara Chauhan and included Mrs. Manjula Sharma (District In-charge), Mrs. Pushpa Lodha (General Secretary), Mrs. Meena Sharma (Organization Minister), Mrs. Kamlesh Gupta (Treasurer), along with dedicated members Mrs. Seema Kumawat and Jyoti Nair, among others.
Media Coordinator Professor Vimal Sharma informed that the workshop focused on promoting yoga, yajna, Ayurveda, naturopathy, Swadeshi products, and Indian education. The main objective of the program was to connect women with yoga and Indian culture in order to build a healthy, cultured, and self-reliant society.
On the morning of May 17, Sadhvi Didi Devpriya Ji joined the workshop live from Haridwar and delivered an inspiring address to the participants. She shared her thoughts on organizational activities, future action plans, and women empowerment. Detailed discussions were also held regarding strengthening and expanding the organization and implementing upcoming plans. State In-charge Sarita Didi discussed issues faced by different districts and suggested possible solutions.
More than 200 women from 41 districts of Rajasthan participated enthusiastically and pledged to spread yoga among the masses and expand service activities.
A cultural evening program was also organized at night, where all participants enthusiastically took part and enjoyed dancing together.
Udaipur District In-charge Mrs. Manjula Sharma stated that the Udaipur team visited nearby yoga centers around Jaipur on May 18 and 19 before returning to Udaipur on May 20.
