Jaipur/Udaipur: In the Senior State-Level Swimming Competition held in Jaipur from June 1 to 3, 2026, emerging Udaipur swimmer Vidhi Sanadhya delivered an outstanding performance, once again showcasing her exceptional talent. She created a new Rajasthan state record in the 100-meter breaststroke event, bringing pride to the state and her hometown.
According to swimming coach and District Sports Officer Dr. Mahesh Paliwal, Vidhi Sanadhya is currently a junior category swimmer but participated in the senior-level competition and achieved this historic milestone. She secured a total of five medals in the championship, including two gold and three silver medals.

Dr. Paliwal informed that Vidhi Sanadhya is receiving regular training in swimming under the Rajasthan Government’s Panch Gaurav Scheme, specifically under the One District One Sport (ODOS) initiative at Maharana Pratap Sports Village, Udaipur. Her remarkable performance has generated great enthusiasm among sports enthusiasts in Udaipur and the Sports Village.
Her achievement has been widely appreciated by the sports fraternity. Vinod Sanadhya, Secretary of the Rajasthan Swimming Association, and former District Sports Officer Vikram Singh Chandela congratulated her on her success.
District Swimming Association representatives Chandragupta Singh Chouhan and Dilip Singh Chouhan, along with various coaches from Maharana Pratap Sports Village, also extended their best wishes.
