Tricycles Distributed to Divyang Beneficiaries; Widow Pension Restored After Two Years at Rural Service Camp in Udaipur

Udaipur: During a Rural Service Camp held at Gram Panchayat Peeplawas, beneficiaries were provided on-the-spot relief under various welfare schemes of the Social Justice and Empowerment Department.

According to Social Security Officer, Girwa, Harshit Kumar Pancholi, tricycles were distributed under the Integrated Assistance Scheme to beneficiaries including Roopaji and Phulaji from Peeplawas village, and Somlal and Kauwa from Pai village. The distribution was carried out by Udaipur Rural MLA Phool Singh Meena, Sub-Divisional Officer Avula Sai Krishna, and Gram Panchayat Peeplawas Administrator Smt. Atli Bai.

The beneficiaries will benefit from improved mobility, enabling them to carry out their daily activities with greater ease, independence, and dignity.

During the camp, the case of 66-year-old Smt. Megali, wife of Shri Sukhdas, whose Mukhyamantri Single Woman Pension had been discontinued for the past two years, was also resolved on priority. After completion of necessary formalities by Hostel Superintendent Bhupesh Soni, her pension was reinstated.

Expressing her happiness, Megali thanked the state government and the Social Justice and Empowerment Department for restoring her long-pending pension.

The Rural Service Camps are effectively ensuring that the benefits of government welfare schemes reach eligible beneficiaries promptly and transparently. By resolving public issues on the spot, these camps are strengthening the implementation of welfare initiatives and improving last-mile service delivery.
