Chief Election Commissioner Emphasises Transparency
Addressing the gathering, Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar reaffirmed that every action of the Election Commission is carried out in strict accordance with the Constitution, electoral laws, and the Commission's written guidelines, ensuring complete transparency throughout the electoral process.
He urged media and communication officers to remain vigilant against the spread of false and misleading information on social media and to play a proactive role in effectively countering misinformation. Referring to the record voter turnout witnessed in the recently concluded Assembly elections, he stated that it reflects the deep trust Indian voters place in the country's democratic institutions and electoral process.
Special Focus on Digital Challenges
