Chief Minister's Morning Walk in Bida Village, Jhadol

Udaipur/Jaipur: Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma's overnight stay in Bida village of Jhadol tehsil in Udaipur district ushered in a new phase of development for the village. On Sunday morning, villagers enthusiastically welcomed the Chief Minister as he walked through the village streets, interacting closely with residents. They expressed gratitude for the announcements and immediate approvals made during the previous night's Gram Chaupal, including the construction of a well to improve water availability, the establishment of a Saras Dairy Centre, and the development of a playground.

During his morning walk, the Chief Minister interacted with villagers, met children, and distributed chocolates. He spoke with school students about their education and future aspirations. He also discussed the VBG Ram Ji Yojana with women beneficiaries, enquired about the well-being of senior citizens and the benefits they receive under social security schemes, and interacted with farmers regarding local agriculture and crop production.

The Chief Minister also held informal discussions over tea with villagers, listening to their concerns and suggestions. Responding to public demands, he directed officials to ensure proper drainage facilities in the village and to expedite the development of other essential civic infrastructure.

Speaking to the media, the Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the prosperity of villages is becoming the foundation of the nation's development. He noted that the state government is continuously organizing Gram Vikas Chaupals to strengthen public participation and ensure prompt and effective resolution of rural issues.

He observed that the residents of Bida village largely depend on agriculture and animal husbandry for their livelihood. Despite small landholdings, local farmers are practicing natural farming with dedication. He praised the significant contribution of women, particularly in livestock rearing and other economic activities. Highlighting the absence of a dairy collection centre in the village, he said that villagers previously had to travel long distances. To address this, the government approved the establishment of a Saras Dairy Centre during the previous night's Chaupal, and implementation of the project has already begun.

The Chief Minister further stated that Rajeevika has become an effective instrument for women's economic empowerment. Farmers and livestock rearers are also benefiting from various government welfare schemes, helping villages become stronger, more prosperous, and economically resilient. He emphasized that continuous administrative efforts combined with active community participation are essential for sustainable rural development. He also encouraged villagers to maintain cleanliness and adopt advanced and natural farming practices.

Prayers at Awra Mata Temple and Tree Plantation Drive
The Chief Minister visited the Shri Awra Mata Temple, where he offered prayers for the peace, prosperity, and well-being of the people of Rajasthan. He also participated in the "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" campaign by planting a sapling in the village, promoting environmental conservation and the vision of a greener Rajasthan.

During the visit, villagers welcomed the Chief Minister by presenting him with a traditional safa (turban). The occasion was attended by Tribal Area Development Minister Babulal Kharadi, Revenue Minister Hemant Meena, other public representatives, senior administrative officials, and a large number of villagers.
