Seminar Organised at Congress Media Centre on Sanjay Gandhi Jayanti

The birth anniversary of former Member of Parliament Sanjay Gandhi was observed on Sunday at the Congress Media Centre located at Raksha Bandhan Dhanmandi. On this occasion, Pradesh Congress Committee General Secretary and Spokesperson Pankaj Kumar Sharma paid floral tribute to the portrait of Sanjay Gandhi and organised a seminar.

Addressing the seminar, Sharma highlighted that Sanjay Gandhi had launched a five-point programme aimed at the all-round development of the nation. The programme prominently focused on family planning, tree plantation, opposition to the dowry system, eradication of illiteracy, and the fight against casteism and other social evils. He said that the ideas and vision of Sanjay Gandhi remain relevant even today and continue to guide society in the right direction.

During the programme, the attendees were also administered a pledge for national unity and integrity.

The event was attended by Kripashankar Mishra, Naresh Swami, Radhe Swami, Narendra Sarraf, Om Prakash Agal, Nitesh Sarraf, Jamna Giri, Yashpal Sharma, Naresh Sahu, Mohammad Sadiq, along with several Congress workers and eminent citizens.
