Surón Ki Mandali’s “Music Muqabla–2026” to Be Held on January 10 at Ashoka Palace

Udaipur: A significant preparatory meeting was held in connection with the much-anticipated **“Music Muqabla–2026”**, to be organized by the city’s renowned music institution **Surón Ki Mandali** on **Saturday, January 10**, at **Ashoka Palace**.

The meeting was conducted under the chairmanship of the institution’s **Founder President, Mukesh Madhwani**. To ensure the event’s grandeur and success, various organizing committees were formed and the overall structure of the program was discussed in detail.

On this occasion, the **official poster of the competition** and the **trophies for the winners** were unveiled by **Mr. R. K. Gupta**, Resident Director of **PHDCCI**, who had arrived from Jaipur, along with Founder President Mukesh Madhwani.

Sharing details of the competition, Mukesh Madhwani informed that a total of **60 participants**, from both **female and male categories**, will take part. Based on the scores awarded by the judges in the preliminary round, **“Super 7” participants** will be selected from each category.

Organizing committee member **Ramesh Datwani** stated that **separate final rounds** will be conducted for the **14 selected participants** (7 from each category). In the final rounds, along with the judges’ scores, **audience voting** will also be considered. Based on the combined judgment of the judges and the audience, the **first, second, and third prize winners** will be announced.

He further clarified that if any participant selected in the “Super 7” is absent during the final round, the next-ranked participant will automatically qualify for the finals.

To enhance the musical quality of the performances, **Ishwar Jain Kaustubh** is conducting regular rehearsals with the participants.

Members of the organizing committee, including **Amrita Bokadia, Arun Choubisa, Lakshmi Aswani, and Chetna Jain**, were present at the meeting.

**Arun Choubisa**, Secretary of Surón Ki Mandali, informed that for the first time, the institution will confer prestigious titles such as **“SKM Swar Samrat”** and **“SKM Swar Kokila”** as part of this competition. He appealed to all members to participate in large numbers and contribute to the success of the event.
